Blue Mountains City Council will lead a local multi-arts celebration after receiving a modest Federal Government grant, Federal Member for Macquarie Susan Templeman has announced.

Council has received $91,107 in funding under the RISE program (Restart Investment to Sustain and Expand Fund) for its Arts Activation Project, which will see a multi-arts celebration focussing on local creatives, communities and cultural spaces.

“This is a welcome investment in the arts in the Blue Mountains, which was largely left behind over the past two years,” Ms Templeman said.
