The community of St Albans is more prepared for the new fire season with an electronic fire danger warning sign purchased with funding secured by Federal Member for Macquarie, Susan Templeman.

The sign has been installed at St Albans Rural Fire Brigade shed after members successfully applied for a $10,000 grant through the Stronger Communities Program, matched by the Brigade.

“This community was hit particularly hard during last summer’s bushfire crisis, and now we are into the 2020/21 fire season,” Ms Templeman said.
