AUSTRALIA POST PARCEL COLLECTIONS

Federal Member for Macquarie, Susan Templeman has demanded action by Australia Post to tackle problems with parcel collections following the closure of Kurmond Post Office.

“Residents from the Kurmond and Kurrajong areas have reported to me of very long and frustrating wait times in accessing parcels, which are now delivered primarily to the Kurrajong Local Post Office,” Ms Templeman said.

“I’ve raised the complaints that I’ve received with Australia Post. This week, when I met with them in Parliament House, I again stressed the urgency to have this matter addressed.

“Among the requests from residents is to have a separate parcel locker so people can, at any time, go and collect their packages.

“I’ll continue to advocate on behalf of residents for improved parcel delivery.”
