01 July 2026

From 1 July 2026, the Penrith Medicare Urgent Care Clinic will operate at a new location.

Located at Suite G01,13 Barber Avenue, Kingswood the Penrith Medicare Urgent Care Clinic will be open extended hours, seven days a week.

No appointment is needed, patients can walk in and all services are bulk billed.

The highly trained doctors and nurses are equipped to treat a range of conditions and injuries that need urgent attention but aren’t life threatening, including cuts, viral infections, or a sprained ankle.

There have been over 23,000 presentations to the Penrith Medicare Urgent Care Clinic at the  previous location.

The Penrith Medicare Urgent Care Clinic will continue to help to ease pressure on the busy Nepean Hospital, where around 35 per cent of presentations in 2024-25 were for semi-urgent or non-urgent conditions.

The Penrith Medicare Urgent Care Clinic is commissioned by the Nepean Blue Mountains Primary Health Network.
